In case you hadn’t heard: the award winning photographer and co-director of Restrepo, Tim Hetherington, died this week from wounds suffered while covering the Libyan battles.
Strangely enough, the film, The Bang Bang Club, comes out this weekend. It is about photographer Greg Marinovich, who helped to cover the civil wars in South Africa in the 1990s.
I don’t see myself in any particular position to comment on these, especially when there are speeches like this available. Unless, of course, anyone would like to discuss this.
